Neymar is desperate to leave Paris Saint-Germain and has been linked with a return to La Liga.
He joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 and the Catalan giants are believed to be keen to get the 27-year-old back.
Real Madrid are also understood to be interested as they continue to look to strengthen before the September 2 European transfer deadline.
Juventus have recently entered the race but Tuttosport claim that Barcelona tried to fend them off the deal by offering them Suarez.
It’s claimed that Barca and Juventus representatives met to talk about a deal for Miranda.
A conversation over a potential swap deal involving Emre Can and Ivan Rakitic was also reportedly had.
But while Barcelona put a deal for Suarez on the table, it’s reportedly not something that interests Juventus.
Neymar has not played for PSG since the beginning of May.
He currently earns a reported £650,000 per week and his contract in France expires in June 2022.
PSG paid a world-record £198million to sign him two years ago and are believed to want to at least break even.
But ESPN pundit Gabriele Marcotti believes it is likely that Neymar will stay in Paris – for this season at least.
“I think what everyone understands is that he wants to leave,” he told ESPN FC.
“However, I think people are getting ahead of themselves.
“I think this is going to rumble on. It seems that Neymar is really agitating for this.
“[Thomas] Tuchel has said ‘either Neymar becomes available and he plays for us or we get someone else in’.
“My guess is ultimately that he stays. But it’s so early that we have enough time left for this to run and run.”
