Have you seen?! Simply Recipes just got a fresh new look! Here’s a bit more about the new design and what’s in store for us in the months ahead.

Hi, everybody!

As you have probably noticed by now, we’ve given Simply Recipes a bit of a make-over! Everybody needs to get gussied up now and then, including websites. Do you like?!

What’s New?

First off, we have a brand new logo. We gave our original logo a new coat of paint, and then switched things up with a more modern font. We know the old one will be missed (sniff!), but trust me, we are going places with this fresh, new look!

Second, we decided to switch up the colors. Friends, we played around with a LOT of different colors back at Simply Recipes HQ. There was a lot of late night chatter on our Slack channels about this or that color palette, and whether certain subtle shades of red made us feel happy or sad or just hungry.

In the end, this watermelon red and teal blue rose to the top. There’s no great story behind our choice, I’m afraid, other than that we just really liked these colors. We hope you do, too.

What’s Next?

We’re hard at work on a bigger, broader, and even more awesome site redesign, which we hope to bring you in early 2020. If you’re a newsletter subscriber, we’ll be sharing glimpses of this new design over the next few months. (If you aren’t subscribed, go do it now!)
