Solskjaer is expected to be busy this summer and attacking players could be high on the agenda.
Freestyler Lynch starred for England in the first half of Soccer Aid at Stamford Bridge.
He netted twice past Julio Cesar in the charity encounter for UNICEF.
And Manchester United fans were quick to suggest Solskjaer makes his move during the transfer window.
One said: “Man united going in for a 90m bid on Jeremy Lynch after this performance”
Another added: “Tell ya what I’d swap Lukaku with Jeremy Lynch for the F2 straight away #socceraid2019”
While a third wrote: “Breaking news Manchester United have tabled 75 million bid for jeremy lynch”
And a fellow fan posted: “Jeremy Lynch is better than most United players #SoccerAid”
Lynch is an impressive footballer, running the popular F2 Freestylers Ultimate Soccer Skills Channel on YouTube alongside Billy Wingrove.
Lynch even made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2008.
And he has previous in Soccer Aid having also netted for England last year.
Lynch was signed by Billericay Town in 2017 though his work with F2 limited his availability.
Maybe Billericay won’t be the end of his football career.
