It’s been fifteen long years since the Friends cast left their keys to Monica and Chandler’s apartment on the counter and walked out the iconic purple door. And to be quite honest, it’s not been the same since.

OK, we may have binge-watched the entire 10 seasons on Netflix several times already, but as Joey says when he buys a new Hugsy: “It’s not the same”.

But now, LEGO are planning on filling that Friends-shaped hole in our lives with the release of their special edition Friends sets.

Everyone together in their best Janice voices now… “Oh my God.”

Teasing the launch, LEGO unveiled a video of the iconic opening Friends sequence with Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica sitting on the sofa in front of THAT fountain – in LEGO form, and wow is it brilliant.

“The one with LEGO bricks,” the caption read alongside a wink emoji.

“Coming soon”.

Although little details are known about the sets, fans of the show are over the moon.

“O. M. G. Must have,” a second said as another added: “I am SO getting this!”

While a fourth wrote: “Omg the one I’m finally going to play,” in reference to the titles of each episode.

Other fans replied with gifs from the iconic series to express their joy at the news.

Prices and release date for the sets are yet to be announced, but we’re sure you won’t have to wait as long as Rachel did for Ross to read her 18 page letter.
